Dear National Service Colleagues,
Many steps have been taken to prepare for the 3rd upgrade to My AmeriCorps. We have developed new functionalities, thoroughly tested the upgrades to the system, and are now in the process of providing the necessary training to various users. With everything working smoothly thus far, we plan to move forward with the official launch of the 3rd upgrade to My AmeriCorps on Monday, July 27, 2009.
With the launch less than two weeks away, please -- if you have not already -- be sure to sign up for the series of webinars offered at the Resource Center. These webinars will provide information you need for the transition. On the site, you will also find My AmeriCorps tutorials to use at your convenience.
Please be advised that in order to prepare for this upgrade, our systems – including My AmeriCorps, eGrants and eSPAN – will be unavailable from 8:00am Eastern, Friday, July 24 through 8:00am AM Eastern, Monday July 27. I am alerting you to this scheduled system outage now so you can plan accordingly. I also encourage you to refer to the operating status page for additional updates and to monitor the system’s status.
