Dear AmeriCorps National Partners:
It was great to see so many of you at our Grantee Meeting. We hope you found the sessions and meeting enjoyable and productive.
In an effort to let you all know of our continuing progress on the Serve America Act implementation, I’m scheduling a portfolio call to provide some important updates. We’ll provide an update on the rulemaking process, discuss further how the Act will impact our 2010 grant competitions, and cover how aspects of the Act are affected by our continuing resolution and pending 2010 budget. Much of this was covered at the Grantee Meeting, but this will serve to provide some important reminders and give you an update on progress made in the weeks since the meeting. We will also allow time for your questions.
