The George Warren Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis provides AmeriCorps alumni the opportunity to enrich your commitment to service and passion for social justice. The Brown School offers doctoral, Master of Social Work, and Master of Public Health degrees. The School also offers international practicum opportunities and awards over $3 million in scholarships, including the Richard A. Gephardt Scholarship, a full tuition scholarship for an individual who expresses a strong commitment to public service. For AmeriCorps alumni not receiving a scholarship or tuition award, the Brown School will provide a one-for-one AmeriCorps tuition award match. The Brown School also offers admission deferral to those applying for admission prior to beginning AmeriCorps service. All AmeriCorps volunteers and alumni are eligible for an application fee waiver.

The Brown School’s MSW program is ranked number one in the country by U.S. News and World Report. Brown creates positive social change through its path-breaking research and educational excellence. The Brown School’s international community of faculty, students, and graduates works throughout St. Louis, across the country, and worldwide to apply new knowledge and use the best available evidence to impact policy, practice, and service delivery.
