FY2010 Managing Opportunity: Implementing the Serve America Act

This meeting is designed for state service commission executive directors, commission staff, national grantee leadership and national grantee program directors.  The agenda will offer sessions for strategic thinking and planning in light of the Serve America Act, as well as sessions for effective operations.  This important meeting will provide you an understanding of CNCS priorities; identify strategies for effective implementation of the newly authorized Serve America Act; enhance skills required for effective implementation; and strengthen relationships with your State and National colleagues.

Join other new AmeriCorps National grantees for sessions designed to provide you the basic tools and resources you need to launch a high-quality AmeriCorps program.

Fulfilling Training Responsibilities and Opportunities

Tuesday, September 15th: 8:30am - 5:00pm

Designed for AmeriCorps State and National grantee staff involved in fulfilling training responsibilities.  The purpose of this meeting is to think creatively about the training offered by your organization.  Sessions will offer best practices and tools to build high quality, integrated training programs.
