American YouthWorks' Regional Restoration Team will build upon the organization's successful State-AmeriCorps program, Environmental Corps, in order to address environmental and youth development needs across a four-state region. Participants will gain valuable job-skills while facilitating conservation projects. In addition, many disadvantaged youth engaged in the program will have the opportunity to earn their high school diploma or GED while helping to protect cherished natural areas.
