Executive Summary
Latin American Youth Center's AmeriCorps program provides multi-state services at school sites in DC, MD, & VA. Members address academic needs of youth by providing in-school academic & after-school homework assistance, recreation, health & service learning opportunities. $1,520,129 (federal share: $831,999 & match: $658,676) supports 7 staff & 64 MSYs focusing on Education & Healthy Futures using the National Performance Measure for Healthy Futures.
