For decades, RSVP has effectively engaged older Americans in meeting national and community needs that deliver lasting, meaningful results. Established in 1971 and now one of the largest senior volunteer programs in the nation, RSVP engages people age 55 and older in a diverse range of volunteer activities.
The Notice made funds available for specific geographic services areas throughout the country. Awards were made based on the evaluation process, related requirements, and in alignment with AmeriCorps’ focus areas and priorities set forth in the Notice. Priority funding areas include:
