Deputy Chief of Staff, Strategic Engagement

Adrienne Andrews serves as the deputy chief of staff for Strategic Engagement at AmeriCorps. In this role, she manages key external-facing relationships and partnerships to advance agency and Biden-Harris Administration goals. The offices of Communications and Marketing, Government Relations, Partnerships, and Public Engagement constitute the agency’s Strategic Engagement team.

Andrews is an AmeriCorps alumna and joins the agency from Notre Dame Mission Volunteers where she served for 17 years following her national service year. During her time with Notre Dame Mission Volunteers, she held many roles and engaged the organization in modernizing systems, expanding practices for data-informed decision-making, and expanded the organization’s operations to Haiti. Most recently she served as executive director, leading the international organization for 6 years before coming to AmeriCorps.

Andrews earned a bachelor's degree from Case Western Reserve University, a certificate in leadership from Duke University, and an MBA from Loyola University Maryland. In her spare time, she volunteers with Howard County Maryland’s MESA program – a program funded by the John’s Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab which addresses inequities in access to STEM education through after-school programming – and spends time outdoors with her family.
