One of the earliest schools of its kind in the country, the Falk School of Sustainability and Environment is a wellspring for leadership and education to overcome current and future sustainability challenges. The academic programs in the Falk School offer unparalleled opportunities for students interested in the intersections of community, natural resources, policy, food, sustainability development, and social justice, and are dedicated to producing leaders in the field of sustainability.

Chatham University recognizes the value of an AmeriCorps experience and seeks to enroll more students who are committed to improving the quality of life for others, and who are passionate about work that can leave a lasting impact. As such, we are proud to award AmeriCorps members with a 20% tuition discount through our Corporate & Strategic Partnership program.

This discount is offered to former AmeriCorps members who are enrolling in one of the school’s full-time graduate programs:

  • Master of Sustainability
  • Dual Master of Sustainability/Master of Business Administration
  • Master of Arts in Food Studies
  • Dual Master of Arts in Food Studies/Master of Business Administration

No additional application is necessary to be considered for this discount, although applicants should indicate AmeriCorps service either in their admission application essay or on their professional resume/CV. The discount will be applied at the beginning of each semester, with proof of AmeriCorps service completion. Admitted students will also be considered for any larger dollar amount scholarship and graduate assistantship awards, however receipt of such an award will supersede the AmeriCorps discount.
