The Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University is pleased to match or exceed (up to a full scholarship) the AmeriCorps Education Award.  The Friedman School is a leader in innovative nutrition education and research, and has a rich history of attracting student with service backgrounds.

Students who receive the match award will also be invited to participate in the Service Scholars program at the Friedman School.  This unique cohort of students helps the School to promote a culture of civic engagement.  Service Scholars also have the opportunity to organize and lead service activities for the School and are offered professional development activities designed for those who wish to pursue leadership positions in service-oriented organizations.
