"I'm an AmeriCorps member with the VISTA program. My service is focused in making the community healthier through increasing access to healthy foods, green spaces, and active transportation. I am expanding the organization's communications including building a website for their monthly updates and newsletters and connecting with the community on their Facebook page. I also am working on a Story Bank project. I collected past stories that have already been recorded by the organization and collect new stories about the history of various programs and about our partners. I also help advertise volunteer opportunities in the community. I hope the resources I am building will help this partnership continue its work into the future beyond my service. That they can use these stories to make lasting change in the community."
